One of Oregon Alpha’s great traditions is the annual “Dinning on Duck” dinner that happens each Monday night dinner the week of the Civil War football game between the Beavers and the University of Oregon Ducks. Over the years, many Beaver greats and members of SAE have played in this game. In 2000, Scott Spiegelberg ’75 invited legendary OSU Coach Dee Andros to come to dinner and talk about what the Civil War meant to him. That evening started what has become an 18 year tradition! Thank you to Scott Spiegelberg for his leadership and commitment to creating a very special night each year at Oregon Alpha.
